Country preparation brief

What this page helps you do

Prepare a focused Pakistan kidney case while keeping medical review, civil relationship documents and lawful donor assessment clearly separated.

Prepare the recipient file
Ask the treating nephrologist for a current summary covering diagnosis, dialysis prescription and access, recent admissions, medicines, infections and cardiovascular history.
Organize donor records
Keep recipient and potential-donor files separate. A NADRA Family Registration Certificate records family composition but is not mandatory for every patient and does not guarantee donor approval.
Confirm medical travel
Pakistani ordinary-passport holders require a visa. Medical treatment is a distinct purpose, so confirm the correct application route for the actual case before booking.
Protect continuity
Continue prescribed dialysis and identify the Pakistan nephrology team that will receive the hospital response and manage follow-up after return.
Verification limits
  • NADRA/FRC documentation may support administrative relationship review; the hospital and relevant authorities decide what evidence is required.
  • A willing relative, visa eligibility or submitted file does not establish donor approval or transplant acceptance.
